About the event
Please join us for a concert of giving back and giving thanks during this holiday season. The Johnson City Arts Center will be presenting “Rhythms of Relief,” a benefit concert composed of both staff and student performers raising money for hurricane relief efforts through Appalachia Service Project.
Appalachia Service Project is a regional organization established in 1969 that is dedicated to repairing and rebuilding homes in Central Appalachia. They accept donations to fund their projects and host small and large groups of volunteers to assist in construction. After Hurricane Helene devastated the region in late September 2024, ASP has committed to repairing or replacing at least 200 homes. All proceeds for this concert will go toward their hurricane relief fund. You can learn more about ASP's mission (and see what kind of volunteer opportunities they provide) here: https://asphome.org/
