Important Dates - Exodus 2024
Unless noted otherwise, these rehearsals take place in the JCAC studios. Dancers should wear their dance uniforms to rehearsals.
Jan 20, 9:30-10:00
Parent Production Meeting (Levels 5-7) - Parents of dancers in levels 5-7 are invited to a mandatory production meeting, in which we will talk about important dates, rehearsals, and expectations for the fall production cycle.
Jan 20, 10:00-12:00
Exodus Auditions - Dance levels 5-7 only. Dancers should wear their favorite black leotards, a nice pair of pink tights, and have their hair in neat buns. Levels 5 and 6 should bring pointe shoes in addition to their ballet shoes.
April 6, 10:00-12:00
Full run - Dancers levels 5-7 only. Dancers should be prepared to run through the entire show.
April 13, 10:00-12:00
Full run - Dancers levels 5-7 only. Dancers should be prepared to run through the entire show.
April 20, 10:00-2:30
Full run; full dress - Dancers levels 1-7 and pre-ballet. Dancers should be prepared to run through all of their dances in the order of the show. Pre-ballet dismissed at 11:00. Dancers levels 1-4 will be dismissed at 12:00.
April 27, 10:00-2:30
Full run - Dancers 1-7 and ballet basics. Dancers should be prepared to run through all of their dances in the order of the show. Ballet Basics dismissed at 11:00. Dancers levels 1-4 will be dismissed at 12:00.
May 1, 5:00-8:00
Tech Rehearsal at Seeger Chapel - Levels 5-7 only. Dancers will block their pieces at this time, so attendance is mandatory. Dance clothes not necessary.
May 2, 4:00-9:00
Dress Rehearsal at Seeger Chapel - FULL CAST.
Dancers should arrive with their hair and makeup done and wearing what they wear under their costumes. ALL pre-ballet and ballet basics students should attend, and will be dismissed early.
May 3, 7:00-8:30
First show at Seeger Chapel - FULL CAST.
Dancers levels 5-7 called at 4:00 to warm up and take pictures in-costume. All other dancers called at 6:00. Monday's pre-ballet and ballet basics students.
May 4, 1:00-2:30
Second show at Seeger Chapel - FULL CAST
Dancers levels 5-7 called at 11:00 for warm up. All other levels called at 12:00. Tuesday's pre-ballet and ballet basics students.
May 4, 6:00-7:30
Third show at Seeger Chapel - FULL CAST
All dancers called at 5:00. Dancers levels 5-7 should be ready to warm up at 5:00. Thursday's pre-ballet and ballet basics students.
